garmin side imaging

hi guy's put a deposit on a 2100 walkaround yesterday and got a look at the garmin 750xs really want a lowrance touch (7 or9 inch)for the side scan . The boat is due in January the guy's told me GARMIN will be bringing out a side scan buy the time my boat is delivered.
Has anyone herd anything about this as I cant find any details am going to team my sounder with a NSS8:D

officially... nothing from garmin
un officially. garmin has a 12 pin sonar plug on the back of the 751xs. and purchased Interphase earlier. a company that pioneered some interesting sonar technology. such as forward facing sonar.

so..............short answer..yes

im running a HDS7touch and a 751xs on my polycraft for the chirp and side imaging
