Seeing the high was at 10ish last night and having a bit of bait left over from the last outing I thought id go give the coffee rock a go for a while. To cut a very boring 4 hour short, 1 35cm brembo bagged and 6 legal, but just, so back they went.....
Headed over to the seaway around 9.30, in the spot, deployed a few deadies and waited and waited and waited.......not a touch.
By 11.30 the tide had turned and started to pick up some pace so headed off to the bridge to replenish the bait tank then made my way over to the marinas...Instead of my usual spot I tried a new place.
Being an absolute perfect night (seabreeze got it right)I drifted a few baits in under the jetties and before to long another 35cm breambo.....
Not long after that I could hear a lot of bust up's further in the marina and thought Jacks.....um no, GT's going nuts on all the bait fish...and every once I a while they would come out from under the jetty they were feeding under and come over to where my baits were.
I hooked into three, bagged 1 .

Right about now the sun was just starting to lighten the sky so back off up the seaway I went. Cruised out the front for a look see, plenty of birds working on the bait fish but wasn't till 7ish before a seen a very half hearted bust up which maybe lasted 15 sec and that was it..
I hung around till 7.30, seen 1 tailor landed and Id had enough by now so checked the pots
Who's a good boy then?;D
