Well really would have liked to be able to go in it this yr - but sorta glad I haven't! Too much on so decided to catch up with one of my best lifelong mates, teach him a few luring tricks and get away from the crowds.

What can I say - Had a magic day, beautiful clean green water (instead of broadwater brown soup!) saw only 3 other boats, ribs hurting from laughter and smashed the flatties!! Biggest only 68cm but heaps of 'em and most over 50. Great to see my mate Lucky get a few good fish too. ;)
Then got dusted by a jack in spectacular fashion at the end - went home licking my wounds that's for sure!
For that whole 0.5 of a second I really gave it to him though ::):P>:(

You FC boys out there can have the classic to yourselves HaHa!

You know a psychiatrist would suggest you are suffering from "Flatty Classic" envy and are over compensating to fill that void.

Mike my wife's a psychiatrist and that's exactly what she said LOL! Revenge has been sweet though .... in the form of flatty fillets in golden crumbs with a sweet chilli and ginger sauce ;D

As I'm inside at work today I really DO have Flathead Classic envy that's for sure!

Tell her I'll split my fee for the diagnosis with her. The "steaming crock" is a whole other issue though, she can have that one on her own LOL!

Lets just say it was sorta like a scene from Dave Attenbourough's Planet Earth similar to Lava hitting the ocean water! Both myself and Lucky are booked in for therapy. :-)

Yes, with the subtlety of a killer whale smashing a seal pup on some isolated beach in Alaska

Franco,

Well done mate,

What brand and jig size with the plastics and vibes? I've never used them before, hence the question
Bondy

Franco,

Well done mate,

What brand and jig size with the plastics and vibes? I've never used them before, hence the question
Bondy

Bondy mostly used 3/8th ounce jig head with 3 inch plastics. On the day used Z Mans paddle tails and grubs but any plastic with a good wiggle tail or paddle on it that sinks quickly and straight will do. WRT vibes used 1/8th to 3/8th oz blades of any brand - I use TT and some expensive Jap brand just coz that's what is in the box!
