After having a shocker last Monday with a mate on board for just 1 legal Parrot and the weather looking good, I thought I would duck out by myself early this morning in my 15ft SC to get one last school holiday session in before the first Reef fin fish closure starts tomorrow night. The plan was to head out to the 12 mile but stopped at one of the wrecks on the way out to jig a plastics for a trevally for bait. First drift and I'm on and up popped this nice little snapper. You beaut, I thought, hopefully they were schooling up to spawn, but it wasn't to be. Couldn't raise another so I took of to my mark at the top of the 12 mile. Scored a parrot, Grassy sweetlip and plenty of undersize red throats before things shut down. Got a decent enough feed and was a nice morning on the water.96795
