G'Day All, After a long hiatus from fishing I am getting back into it once more.
As mentioned in a previous post re Fraser, I'm going to the island next week for a fishing trip. We are going via the scenic route from Noosa North Shore/Teewah Beach to Rainbow/Inskip. I'm wondering how the beach worms are along Teewah Beach these days. They used to be very prolific 25+ years ago when I last was there.

Hey mate, they're still there, been bit hot and cold last year or so, but you should be able to find some up the top, I'd be hitting any good banks north of the camping area, you will find em down the beach, but best bet up the top end

Thanks Stu.
The aim is to get a few worms on the way in case we don't find any on Fraser.
I hope I haven't lost the knack, it's been a while.

Plenty on Fraser. Also plenty of pippies at the moment too.

Yeah plenty on the front beach o Fraser mate, try round the wreck and even north of there, but most banks should have a few

Update: I decided not travel to Inskip via Noosa North shore so can't comment on the worming on Teewah Beach as per my original question. However on Fraser, I tried in several spots and on all occasions, worms were plentiful. It took me about 90 minutes and many lucky worms to finally get the 'feel' again. It was heartening to see that worm stocks were plentiful.
An amazing thing happened the day before yesterday whilst gathering a few worms for that evening's whiting fishing. I had a large whole mullet tethered to a small nylon rope as the bait. I lost grip of the rope and the mullet got carried away on a small wave several metres away. A huge sea eagle swooped down out of no where and carried off the whole mullet with the rope trailing behind. The wing span on the bird was massive. It must have been watching me waiting for a chance to swoop. I have another story about a very persistent dingo but will write that later.

While on Fraser a few weeks back we had eagles swooping down and picking up just-released tailor (still alive and swimming) from a foot of water right near our feet. They must've been watching us and timing their dives to coincide with when they thought the fish would be released.
