I must have a Pencil Popper in my tackle bag as I am traveling/working around Australia.
It catches a lot of different species! From Tailor, Salmon in surf gutters to casting the reef for GT's and Coral Trout. I also use it at night time for Mangrove Jacks and Barra in rivers and my favourite thing to do is cast one at a Yellowfin Tuna school! Now that is fun.
What's your GO TO lure?

King fish in the seaway love them too. ;D

chrome pink 2m 190 laser pro. they seem to swim past the others in the spread to nail it time and time again.. otherwise the redhead/white body, had a marlin eat one in the prop wash last season....

I'm a big fan of the laser pro's in all sizes. Jew, kings, tuna, spanish and everything else that eats a mid-sized lure will smash the guts out of them and they're hardy and cop a flogging.

GCfisherman.. If i had to pick an all time surface lure it would have to be the good old cotton cordell pencil popper!

Halco laser pro in this colour (not sure they make it anymore) Got at least 4 to 1 hits last summer over other halco's and rapala's. A couple of marlin took a liking too but must have tasted bad cause spat them out...

2m its just a halco 190. I got about 3 of em but looking for more but can't find them anymore. I also have heard some good things about hydro magnums so I'll probably give them a run this summer...

Have a look at the Halco Max. Compared to bibed lures, it`s bulletproof. It will troll up to 14 knots and is a great fish catcher.

Halco lazer pro 190 2m. This lure has single handedly caught hoo, marlin, spaniards, baracuda, rainbow runners, dollys and tuna. Its pretty much been retired but it might make its way up to 1770 for 1 last hoorah....
