New posts

When I log in, it will say "New posts" 16. Or 28 or 19 and so on.

When I click on the "New posts", I can never get the correct number of new posts to show up, but always a lesser number.

What am I doing wrong?

TOL, I think you will find that there might be a few replies (posts) on some threads. So if 5 people replied to your post then it will show up as 5 new posts but only one thread.
