Last minute decision to get wet yesterday evening ,looked like it was clearing , guess not..... raincoats on and copped it all the way from shorncliffe to the Brizzy river , loaded with live herring which received zero interest after an hour or so and after the rain and wind moved on we decided to head to the western side of mud. In all my years of chasing schnaps around this island (personally I don`t rate it ! ) I have never really put anything over 50cm in the box :-X anyways we went to my little lump and anchored for the start of the run in. two rods with live herring and one with a little cuttlefish, bit of burly and the first rod with the cuttlefish goes off.................nice 69 and that was the end of the herring, cuttlies on the rods now and ten minutes later and we got his mate .
