92cm Peel Jewie

Hi all,

Went out early on Thursday to Harrys with 2,000 other boats, weather was looking good. Put a few squire in the esky and then decided to head back to the boat ramp around lunch time but stopped in around Peel for a flick on the way back to Cleveland.

Was flicking a 4" Keitech Impact Shad on my new Luvias 3012 reel when suddenly the rod started bending and the reel started screaming. After a good fight over 10 minutes on the 15lb main line, 12lb leader I landed my first Jewie, 92cm not a bad way to break the ice.

Conditions in the bay were terrible as seen in the photos.
