im thinking the 7'11" pe3 2 piece would be a cracker off the rocks for tuna and kings.chucking 100-150g poppers and stickbaits.are they worth the investment $

Mate I can't find too many specs on that rod but gut feel tells me those weight poppers might be a bit heavy for the PE3. The lower range maybe but I'm skeptical of,anything over 120g. The PE5 might suit better for those larger lures.

There should be a lure weight rating somewhere that will help. Maybe shoot them an email direct.

just got a answer back from the seller about the pe5 and he says although not rated the pe5 would be good for heavy lures up to 400g...fark me do they even make em that big.it'd be like casting a brick ....anyway does anyone know about the casting weight capabilities of the pe3 & pe5 in the 2 piece
