Bad net from Dave

G'day,

Some fella I know purchased a net some time ago from some person called "Dave" who had castnets placed for sale and displayed in a local fisho's shop in Loganholme.

Mate tells me he paid $320.00 but did not use his castnet until 5 days ago. Must have been bad or dodgey workmanship, those knots kept slipping and some unravelled.

The only thing that did not break was the bucket and rope that came with the net.

Mate tried to get in contact with this bloke but noticed his mobile number was no longer displayed. >::(

Update,

My friend ended up purchasing a castnet made by prawnin pete and has recently used it. He reckons the net is good, well made as the knots are not slipping and seem to have better quality material. Mate reckons it was a better investment.
