Hey guys,
Weather permitting, in a couple of weeks I'm doing an overnighter in the bay, either Harry's or Peel, what is the best weight sinker for the bay please.
Thanks.
Tony.

try not to use them at all. if you have to use them just experiment the conditions are forever changing . if ya wanna get technical the line should be at 110 degrees to the water lol

Just enough to get to the bottom lighter the better no matter where you are!

What thechniques with no sinker do you use? Cast 90 degrees out and let it come round or just let line out the back??
Cheers

i usually throw the line as far as i can in the direction of the drift then it goes in the rod holder for 5 mins so i can rig and throw the next one. after rod 2 is out i pick up the first rod and start reeling in slowly. then the process is repeated for 7 hours or so. just gotta keep an eye on the slack line
