Soaked some pots aswell as myself

ive been hitting up a local little creek last few days setting the pots and have been checking them at every low tide. so far the count is about 25 crabs including 15 or so bucks - 9 of those keepers. Nearly all the crabs have been only half to 3/4 full. Not many jennies at all.
Last check was this arvo bout 4.30 got the pot snagged so ventured around to other side of the creek to try free it. In doing this i needed to cross another small creek. Long story short i didnt quite make the jump ::) slipped down the bank and went up my throat in water. Now this little creek is only about 5 foot wide, so i was prety suprised when i nearly disappeared.
so here i am pissing down rain swimming up a tiny creek in the middle of nowhere trying to find something to hoist myself out. So wondering shoeless back around to the other side of the creek i noticed my pocket felt a little light. yep mobile gone, keys still there phew...
sorry no pics they are in the drink with my phone.
on the plus side ive discovered some new crabbing grounds and dont even have to get the boat dirty.

feel your pain. lost 3 mobiles to davy jones now. breaking records with my current phone. it has lasted near on a year now... on the upside your phone probably would have been stuffed anyway. saved you taking it home and opening it, washing it, oiling it, only to find out its stuffed 2 weeks later. been there, done that.
bummer of a way to find a new hole too but again on the upside you probably would have got just as wet out there anyways...

netmaker i was stupid for taking it with me to start with. I always knew i would end up in the drink
biggest pain in the ass is losing all my numbers and photos as its my work phone.
Anyways im heading back down now to check the pots and hope by some miracle i find it on the bank so i can at least get my sim card back.

Hey dean, those pics would be priceless. But mate how many crabs u get? Glad u ot out. U could have been up there or hours.

greg for my efforts since friday arvo got 9 legal and lots of very close to legal bucks. Shame all the rusty solid crabs were just unders. All the keepers been pretty light on inside.
Went back for final check this morning. 2 pots gone completely other 2 more undersize bucks.
Think i mightve crabbed it out so gonna hit up another spot now.
