Hey guys managed to get out again in the hopes the fish would still be hungry after all the rain. Went to the usual spot, fished with the usual light gear and managed to land one Jack at 39cm. Was using dead herring and mullet fillets, first cast for the night and I'd hooked a small jack, got off just before I could land it.. not long after there were lot of big hits but I only managed two big runs and the hooks didn't set :( tides weren't great and I was fishing saturday night from 9:30-12 on a run in with high around 2am.

Glad to see there still biting and I will be back to slay them again soon.

Nice one!
Was down Brunswick wall about 2 weeks ago and a lot of fresh was running out, seen a guy catch a nice Jack on mullet strip casting into the river about 50 meters from the mouth.
They must like a bit of dirty water.
