rod to suit catalina 6500?

I have a catalina 6500 which is currently mounted to an ian miller 2 piece jig rod , can anyone offer me some suggestions on other rod options for this reel bottom bashing / large lure pitching please.

I have that reel on a Wilson Venom 350 jig rod for bottom bashing and love it but it wont pitch large lures, other rod is a Gary Howard Calstar Graphfighter GF700XH, bit of an allrounder for that sort of work, bottom bash, jig and throw lures. Its an option to look at
