Mud revisited

Been about 12 months since i was last at mud and on that trip i bagged out before 8.30 am so being on the last few days of my holidays i was up at 3am and out at mud at 4.30am, great conditions although travelling in the dark still gives me the heebie jeebies, only 1 other boat on the northside so i started flicking plastics , and thats all i did ,it was like casting into my bath tub , from 4.30 till i left at 7.30 i felt only 1 little tap, , a real marine desert, there seemed to be bait school on my sounder but nothing chasing them, mud can be like that.
Back to chasing flahead me thinks and from now on i will save 2 weeks holdiay for winter..

bad luck AC, the NW part of the island has been fishing pretty well lately too
