Well another year is upon us & I thought it was time for a change of fishing after two months of chasing marlin - And no better start than a beautiful PB diamond trevally 8-)

Next was a yummy longtail - which will be joining us for dinner with some soy :P

After getting wiped out a couple of times Nath finally managed to land this thumping Golden Trevally - which had really cool marks !

Finished the day off with my 1st Hervey Bay kingfish - after loosing a similar one to the sharks 1st .... I had forgotten how hard these things pull !

We ended the day feeding the sharks on our terms which you can watch @

Thanks mate. Don't mean to turn this into a tackle thread but do you think this is a better suit on the terez to the Stella 4000FE? I have this rod and am thinking of putting a Stella on it.

Nice first up outing Scotto. Good to see you had time to bugger around with the 'tax men'. Nice Diamond btw. Yep....those YTK's sure do pull hard, amazing how you forget when you havent caught one for a while.
Cheers

Billy - I used to have the 4000FE & had no trouble doing similar work - however I believe your better off with the SW model if your going to spend most of your time casting at things that go fast & pull hard ;)

Great combo that one - Scotto

Hey Scott great report. How much fuel do you use on a big day trip up the top of the bay, Peter.

Hey Scott great report. How much fuel do you use on a big day trip up the top of the bay, Peter.

We generally use around 70 litres for a BIG day up around Roonies/Coral patch/Sandy cape - I sit on 5000 rpm burning 15 lph at 22 knots while running with the Suzi 60 4 stroke.

Thanks Scott, I'm running a 90hp Suzuki 4stroke on a 5mtr Black Mako Craft. If I do a weekend then I suppose I would need 120 lts.Was thinking about a Terez myself what model do you use, Peter.

You should use similar I recon as your revs at cruising should be lower i.e 4200 ? I always carry 120 litres under floor in any case

Scott
Have you the Suzuki interfaced with the Lowrance to give your fuel data ?
Or via another method ?
