New Year and new post.
Still searching for any old sidecast reels - Timber or Brass.
As I have mentioned before I am a Private Collector and Historian of these reels.
I am always looking for any unusual reels that may be in the shed or under the house.
Don't worry if they are damaged or missing parts.They may be just the one I am looking for.

thought of you this morning

went to a "moving" garage sale this morning (11 Woondaroo St, Bracken Ridge) and there was a tub of really old alveys for sale. there's a phone number in today's Courier Mail under Garage Sales and that address

Didn't look too closely at the reels but they were "older" and various sizes. Not sure if any timber ones, pretty sure no brass. pretty sure one of the surf rods for sale was bamboo too!
