Heading to Urangan in Jan, what is recommended gear and spots locally, I taking my tinnie. Peace

You might catch the run of spotties at that time of year.
Or head down to river heads and go crabbing.

woody island straight out from harbor is a good place to start , head for the far side of the island has an artificial reef close in on its northern end
