Daiwa Luna 103 - Rod advice

Can anyone recomend a rod well matched to a luna 103?

I have been looking at:
Daiwa Heartland 6ft
g Loomis 6ft GL2
Temple fork outfitters 6ft


Can anyone tell me what they have matched them with?

I will be mostly chasing fingermark and the occasional barra

Check out the Wilson Sportfishing Series 6Kg baitcaster. I had a GL3 Loomis and loved the blank but the line touched the blank in three places when it was loaded. The Wilson has an excellent build and the blank is way better than the Territory Barra Series. I have caught stacks of jacks with this rod and a Shimano Chronarch.

I have mine matched to a Nitro Crankbait, so far very happy.

Gee - there are so many options ...... but if the budget allows you'll be hard pressed to find a better match than a Samurai 351 - It's a bit longer than the 6' ers being 6'6" but it will balance out the round profile reel & you'll appreciate that extra length when casting fingermark / jack sized lures
