Hi all my thinking about taking the missus for a fish next week if it stops raining and was thinking about trying the Woody Point jetty. Is it worth a try, if so what should I expect to catch? It would be mid morning after dropping the young fella at school. Is it worth dropping some crab pots over the side? Thanks for any info.

Thanks Feral. I'm new to the area, where is the artificial reef? Is it casting distance from the jetty cause I'm land based?

Yes Feral id like to hear more of this arti reef.
Rustness your best bet would probably be with the crabs.
For bream try where Feral mentioned, hang over the side and cast underneath, lightly weighted prawn should see you get a few.
Gotta be at least half way through the making tide as its pretty shallow most of the way
