Gotta spend Mon to Thurs in Melb then fly out to Turkey for two weeks for work so no fishing for three weeks :( so thought I would have a fish this morning before the predicted winds came up. Got out on the water about 4:15am and started throwing some SP's round my some of my spots but a small high with a not so low low predicted didn’t see the usual action on daylight that I am used to (no run, no fun)
Anyway, spent a nice few hours on the water and landed about 8 flattys' Nothin huge but hey, beats mowing the lawn. Here are a couple of pics that turned out ok (could be same fish I am not sure)
Anyway, will head up into Bells in the morning and try for another Jack as the predicted 20 -25knts wouldn’t make for a pleasant passage trip.
Cheers;)

All the fish up your way would be breathing a sigh of relief knowing they are safe for a couple of weeks.
Enjoy the trip .
Shawn.
When you get back , might have to look into bringing the boat up to your neck of the woods for something different .
( Thanks for the suggestion Tim and Trace )

( I have to do the unthinkable this week..get on a plane..not been on one for well over 20 years..am a bit hesitant..hate the things)

Crap, the cats outta the bag now. Bet you thought I was a hand model dincha Greg? Getting on planes for me is like getting in the car. I used to be a nervous flyer but now I just watch the cabin crew when it gets a bit iffy. If they carry on like nuthins wrong I don't worry. Mind you on long haul flights a few beers a big feed and a cognac or two helps too. Love business class (thank god work pays cos there is no way I could)
Good luck with it mate
