Nerang Tings with T2...

Hi

Been circa 2 yrs since Timor2 and I caught up (for a fish in the Nerang), but last night ended that! Hit the water and headed to a preferred spot at the CC only to find another tinny in 'no man's land', which meant we couldn't position oursleves in our desired spot. So we moved up a little and anchored up. 1st lines in at circa 6.30pm. 1st cast and 1st fish in the boat at 39cm. Not a bad start! 3 Tings later and our spot opened up so we moved there. Got another 18 before things quitened down so moved back to our initial spot for the last hour of the run out for another 5 Tings. Tide change so we headed upstream to an 'experimental' spot for the change. Managed another 4 before calling it quits (still on the chew) at 11.30pm with a tasty total of 30 Tings.

All predominantly good quality with only a handful under 30cm. A very enjoyable evening and home in bed at a semi-reasonable hour! Looking forward to more sessions this summer with T2!!

Dean, Cribbies mate! I can't sell a yabbie in the Nerang. T2 was mixing it up with metho'd rock wrigglers and it didn't seem to affect the quality/quantity…
