Hi all I went for a quick fish today and dropped the pots out got a few Bream and a few sandies. My missus wants the crabs hot tomorrow for lunch so I'm just wondering should I leave the crabs in A bucket of salt water over night or put in the fridge? Any ideas on how to keep them over night till lunch time tomorrow?

i tried that once with sandies and they didnt last very long at all - certainly not overnight, they seem a bit fragile. i have had muddies last overnight tho. unless you have some sort of bait tank or pump i think you had better cook them first.

Salt water slurry. In the fridge covered will be ok as well.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up putting them in the esky in a ice slurry so they ended up ok. Thanks again. Hopefully going to get a couple more today.
