Hi All

Been a while since i hit the water for a crack at some tasty morsels... weather too good to not go so hit the road with Snapperbasher and launched in the Nerang at circa 6.30pm. Found it a real struggle up until the top of the tide with only 4 Tings in the bucket by the top at 10.30ish. Knew it would be tough but not that tough.

Came back down to the (circa) CC for the run out and managed 16 in 2.5hrs to make the evening worthwhile with both of us getting a feed. Quality was generally pretty good too. Great evening/conditions - just need some rain to stir the canal dwelling Tings up.

G'Day T1, good to see you back down there getting amongst them.

Looks like some good quality as well.

You are right, it is great up there on the calm nights.... sure takes away any stress.

Hopefully I will get down there again soon.

Hey FB! Mate it had been a while and was looking pretty grim for a while there… lack of time on the water over the past few months probably didn't help but that should change shortly. It's funny because I tried a couple of spots that nearly always throw up a good few fish, inc 2 that I refer to as my 'go to' spots when things are slow - they were very tough too. All I can say is thank god for the CC area! It's quite amazing that that place holds so many fish. It's s unique system the Nerang - blessed to have it on our doorstep.

T1 and T2 I have seen the numbers that you guys put up when you get together. I better get down there again myself before you guys team up.

Ha ha FB! Funny thing is we used to cop a lot of flak for our numbers from our once a month trips... yet some of these same people go once a week (or more) which when added up on a monthly basis, far exceeded anything we did. Strange really. Thing is, with my growing brood, i need circa 15 Tings for a meal - a bagout gets me 2 feeds - not a lot when you think about it.

T2 & I haven't got together for a quite a while (for a fish), so we're both looking forward to a good long session... :)

Good on ya T1, as far as I am concerned bag limits are there for a reason and as long as we all stay within the limits it is all good. If you can get your bag limit more credit to you guys. I look forward to seeing some more of your great catches..... enjoy the fillets.

I can't see myself getting down there for about another 5 weeks, commitments on week-ends. I will be spending 4 weeks on the coast during December/January so will give them a good crack then.
