Being a Shimano man and the fact Daiwa has a massive range of spinning reels. Could someone tell me what Daiwa reel would suite my SRJ844 IMX?

What are you actually asking? Being a Shimano Man it seems a bit strange to be asking the question.
Are you not happy with Shimano or are you looking at other better options. Let us know what purpose you want it for and how much you want to spend for a starter

I assume he is talking about the SJR 844 IMX
LOOMIS SJR844 IMX 7'0" 1/4_1oz 10/17# 1pc Fast Action Heavy Power
Without knowing the rod I would probably be looking at a 4000 size Shimano reel so a 3000 - 3500 Diawa would go OK. A Certate would be nice if you can afford it

Hell,
Am running a Stella 4000 on old rod just looking for another option. Don't have many options for Diawa here, and wasn't sure of the size comparison. I was thinking an Exist. Was looking at using it for plasics for coral trout etc and some barra fishing with hard bodied a bit of both. Or shuld I just stick with a Stella?

I would stick with a Stella in that case

looked at the certate, appart from being a couple of kg down on drag on the stella it looks pretty good. How does it compare to the Stella?

I have a 3000 heartland on my sjr843 IMX, which is the 8-14 rod, one down from yours. Sits pretty well and I think a 3000 daiwa would go well on your rod as well
