Hey guys . Taking the family over to moreton island camping for a week starting this sunday . Just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on places and baits etc . Have fished around the island by boat many times but that was 5 + years back . The little fella is keen as and i want to make sure he gets some good fish . I was thinking of floating some pillys and throwing some plastics and baits up near curtain artificial but apart from that i haven't any plans . Any help would be much appreciated

Dropping slugs down near the beacons should find you some mackerel at this time of year if you have a boat
Edit: sorry didnt read the title properly...

Hey mate
This is an old video but still relevant. Scroll down until you find Tangalooma Flathead - it stars Gray Howard.

I was on Morteon Island two weeks ago. On the incoming tide, there were plenty of whiting swimming around in the shallows also.
Cheers Adam
