Surf Spinning outfit

Hi All,

I'm after some advice for a Surf spinning combo. Was in BCF this arvo but they're all so thick! Are there any decent thin rods?

Would like something thin that can send spoons out to the boaties ;D

Any recommendations? Mainly for Tailor fishing but just need to get that spoon over the sand bank.

Not sure on the rod but as for the reel i don't think you could pass up one of the Penn spinfishers for the price they are selling them for nowadays.......sub $100 when on special is hard to beat........
