Shark fishing Logan River

Hi Folks,

I am looking to try my hand at catching a couple of small bull sharks and as I'm not far from the Logan I was hoping someone could give me a couple of spots to try or a general idea of where to fish.
I've read all the great threads here on technique, safety, cooking etc so just looking for some spots to try.

Does anyone know what part of the tide is best for sharks?

Don't know about times etc, but apparently there's plenty of sharks in the Coomera river. From memory that not far from Logan?

Apparently a smallish catfish is ok bait.
