Hi All,
Follow on from Age Old Question.
Just after some info regarding the Revival 525 Cuddy cabs, I have had a look at them in WA at a dealer and seemed to be a good boat at a reasonable price, also going to look at a used one this week - hardly done any work with a 90 hp 4 stroke Merc on the back. Really want to know of other owners etc. what they are like out side, ride, stability and what power they have on them. All reports I can find say they are a good boat for the money.
I don't want to get into feed back about the manufacturer not being a nice guy etc.
Cheers
Dave

G1,
Having just put a deposit down for a boat and going through the process of researching a family/fishing all I would say is there is a thread on ausfish along with a You Tube that video that may aid with you decision.

Hi JD
A mate of mine has one with a 115 Optimax on the back. He has followed me out offshore fishing in the boat a few times. We caught caught in some pretty nasty weather and it got home ok.
If your main use is for offshore fishing then I would look at something a bit different. The cockpit isnt real deep and that would be the main reason I wouldnt buy it for offshore.
If it is for the bay and dams then it would be fine.
My friend hasnt experienced any issues with his boat to date.
Sorry not a first hand experience, however no real show stoppers coming from his reports either.
Regards Adam.
