Yesterday, we headed out to P.O.B about 2 pm. We tried a few different spots, with no bites on SPs or bait.
Two hours later we started to get some enquires with a few bites here and there. Then, just a the sun dipped below the horizon, along came a few snaps. Lisa's rod was on - ZZZZzzzz - a 37 cm snapper. Then the dead stick went off - ZZZzzzzz - it put up a good fight with Daz in the driving seat. Just as he got it up to the boat it took another dash for freedom, but Daz put the brakes on him... with a big smile on his face he measured a 47 cm snapper (Daz's PB). Next, Poppi's rod nearly dived into the water (naturally, she wasn't holding it - she was having more fun playing with bait and torches). Pops hauled in her PB snapper too @ 35 cm... with yahoos and hi-fives all round... all in a 10 minute timeframe.
Following, we caught lots of undersized bream and tailor. We called it quits at about 6:30 pm.
Our last 6 fishing trips in Brisbane have been at the P.O.B with all trips catering nice dinners for us.
