G'day,

Picked these up this morning......

New PB of 84cm (up from 80 on bait) and an increase from 64cm on plastics!

Sizes for the Snapper were 84, 51 and 39cm, with the Tailor going 35.

I think I know why they call them Zman's... must be something to do with all the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ from your reel!

G'day

Not sure, I'd say 10 mins? To busy concentrating on fighting fair and landing it. Have had "unstoppables" on at that size before and been smoked, mainly due to having older braid on the spool without the quantity that I have now.

I have a 7' phleuger 2-5kg rod with 2500 Stradic, 10lb braid and 12 lb flurocarbon leader.

There's no spot x's, just find the god ground, spend the time, drift it, be QUIET and all will fall into place.

Congrats Dave. You just nailed one of my dream fish on a plazo! Go the plastics brigade!!

Just wondering...how do you keep your Zmans from slipping off the hooks. I really like them for sustainability and stickability but they always get pulled off. My only answer has been super glue which go's everywhere and sticks my fingers together and also permanently sticks the jig to the plastic.

Any answers from you or anyone else.

This is my only complaint with Zmans..

They are definitely fish catchers as you have proved...by the way...what one/type did you get it on?

G'day

Superglue, just be tidy with it! It isn't ideal, however it's one of those necessary evils. I just throw the jighead out when the plastic has had it (takes quite a while).

I used the use the Zoom superfluke in 4'', baby bass color, and I now use the "StreakZ" in the same color in the zman (it's only 3.75'')

Loctite 406. Last forever in the fridge. Hold like super glue without melting your plastic.
