New Estuary and Bass rod

So i have a spare abu garcia black max 2 reel around and looking to pair it to a new rod for mainy estuary use but i was also hoping to get something capable of chasing down bass, yellas, toga etc.

have been lookin at the pflueger trion 2-4kg
will this hold up against big bass and togas ? or should i opt for the 4-7 kg
