Listed my boat on Trading Post last night and within 2 minutes I receive a SMS send me your email so we can talk. I make contact by email and receive the old "Working in remote area long hours happy with price of boat will send courier round to pick up boat send me all your pay pal account details". THIS IS A SCAM FELLOW FISHERS. I replied to email bring cash around or #&!% off. I also advised the sender that I had contacted the Federal Police regarding the email. Surprise Surprise no cash no further emails. So please beware members there are far too many low life's who will steal your hard earned rather than work for it. Mojo

I do jet ski licences and I had a guy email from UK (supposedly) saying he would like to book 3 of his staff for a jet ski licence and could I pay the airfare and accommodation for them. WTF.

This scam has been going on for along time so they must be making something out of it otherwise they wouldn't bother.

Your very right in what you say. I would like a computer program that when you open their email you could click a button and blow their computer up in their face.

They get 1 in 1000000 with this scam. I also have a boat for sale on trading post and boatsales/point and have gotten HEAPS of these dodgy texts form people that send them from online so number cant be traced always asking to contact them by email
Instead of a number it will just have a name such as KEN
trading post has a list of their dodgy emails on their site here is a link to it.

I also have my boat on Gumtree and receive them. The best way to tell is they don't make specific reference to what you have for sale. More so your "item"
