Well, it had to happen. My favorite little sol 2000 finally gave up the ghost and threw its handle:-[. The shaft broke. Just wondering if any of you tackle guru's know where I can get some new bits for her.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers Preso.

I know of a Sol 4000 that broke the end of the cap of the shaft, so the handle kept sliding around, from memory he got it repaired at fishhead.

You can order spare parts direct from Daiwa by email, now. Might be quicker and cheaper, if you know what you need (a new handle? Key 74 / part no. G69-5001).

How did you break the handle shaft?

Nah, not stupid. I like pushing gear to it's limit too (but not beyond, if I can help it!). I thought you meant the hex shaft that goes through the middle of the drive gear, but you broke the actual handle arm, did you?
