Hi guys,
I am trying to work out which rod to use out of the 7'9 and 7'2 2-5kg lox yoshi snapper rods.
I wont be using it for soft plastics. mainly with 10lb mono on a 3000 stradic FJ reel to cast small slugs and lures. doesnt anyone have either rod and how much further would a 7'9 cast vs 7'2 and is there any side effects of the longer rod other than weight? i put them next to each other and its only 3 inchs longer , from the reel to tip as the rest in in the butt length.
would possibly use this for casting into schools of fish etc for some fun
also would a 3000 stradic be too small for this 7'9 rod? with the 7'2 is feels super light and really nice. the 7'9 is still decent but not as nice.
already have a spellbinder 6'6 for SP and a zing 2-4kg for estuary work
thanks in advance
