Headed out to Harry Atkinsons, Left whyte island ramp about 5:15pm and got to Harrys about 6:00pm, there was only i other boat out there and he was drifting, The current was running hard as i was flat out getting to the bottom, It was very quiet as we were flat out losing a bait for a few hours but we waited for high tide which was at 9:30pm, The wind was blowing SE/NE, left Harrys at 11:15pm with NO FISH didnt even get a bite, very strange this is the worst harrys trip ive had but i did see about 5 trawlers scattered through the bay on my way out. Does anyone know if the wind or current would have played a part in the fish being off the bit?
