Got to Peel early, home by 10am. Heaps of 30-33cm Snapps.
Took my wife and oldest daughter. Youngest daughter was working and very peeved off.>:(
Unbeknowns to me, my wife decided to disprove the theory of carry a banana. Well it's a myth.:-?
Heaps of 'Mowerman' classic catches. I think I got an Aust record.;D
Thanks heaps to 'Beastmaster' for the hints.
Cheers8-)

If that smaller one is say 35cm (min. Size) that larger model must be about 80cm?

There's always one ######## but there appears to be two. No wonder no one posts much up here.

The smallest snapper's tail is poking out from the other end of the ruler. Definitely legal. Largest one looks 60ish to me. Nice catch

Went back there 2 days later with a mate, same spot, same tide and came home with zip. I guess they had moved on. Cheers 8-)
Hey Castlemaine! Good catch there pal! Isn't it funny how it can change in a short space of time...?
Sometimes it's just best not to throw a ruler in, and let the CSI team guess...

Hi T1
Good to hear from you too! Thanks for the hint.
I thought you'd got lost chasing those whiting in the Nerang with your little nipper (how old is he now?).
Miss your reports on Wello Point, obviously you're no stranger to critics on this site.
I'm hanging out to get some time to chase those flathead and whiting down the coast.
Cheers
Ivan
Hey Ivan
He's nearly 6 now! But he also has 2 sisters (Nearly 4 & 3) and a little brother 8mths! Funny enough, he's yet to have a trip to the Nerang, and even harder now that he's in Prep! Actually fish Wello very little now that i've got a new motor (more confidence across the Bay). If i do it's to take Jibreel out for a few hours close to home. No more kids so hopefully in the next 12 months i'll start fishing more regularly again.
Mate, i'm not sure that there's a benefit in reporting anymore on a number of fronts - i'm not averse to the critics, that's their perogative! I just get sick of the mindless logic/arguments pertaining to certain fishing issues and the lack of comprehension skills that abound any Internet forum! Sometimes it's just best to stay silent...
Take care T
