Well guys the weather we are having at the moment is second to none. I had a great weekend out on the water. Caught a few fish nothing to rave about but got a feed out of them just the same which was a bonus. Fished Scarbrough on Sunday didn't take home anything caught a nice 45cm flatty which lived to fight another day and quite a few undersize squire pulled up about 12 in total this time all about 30-33 which I think is good because the bay is showing there are going to be some nice size fish in the future by what I have caught over the passed few outing's. Still waiting for that big one to smash one of my hooks gotta better my PB. Monday I hit Mud only managed to pull up 1 grinner and the baits where getting taken by Crabs so there should now be quite a few full ones over there now becuase they loved the feed of Fresh squid I put on for them lol. Left Mud and headed back to Scarbrough Pulled up on a spot I had not fished for a while brought up 4 squire in half an hour 2 33's and 2 37cm's soon after we were getting our bait's hit by stingrays and small shovel nose shark's. I had my little 4kg rod at breaking point quite a few time's brining the bloody thing's up. Here are a few pic's hopefully I will have something better to show in the coming week's. Looking forward to this season on the water.

Cheers Mick.:)

nice effort fish08. makes you wonder sometimes why you spend so much money going to mud when you can go to redcliffe and catch a coupple of squire 200meters of shore.caught some crackers of there but you got to fish it right to get the big girls.there their .

Yeah mate I know what you are saying there are some big ones there I don't mind the trip to Mud and don't mind fishing over there. I am yet to get anything of real size over there but I love fishing Scarby as I always manage to catch a feed. Being out on the water is the best part.

I agree fisho8, being on the water and putting in the hours well worth it. Even if the fish aren't there. If you wanted an easy feed you'd go to woolies.
