I have exactly the same make/model of boat your enquiring about but in the Cuddy Cabin version. Very happy with my Boat! They are a little on the heavy side being a plastic boat but the ride & stability is second to none. My boat is powered by a 2009 Mercury 75hp 2 stroke (Carb). The motor is very snappy pushing the boat out of the hole, as is with most 2 stroke outboards.

I'm guessing if you max out the HP to it's rating of 80hp in a 4 stroke if you prefer to stay with a 4 stroke I'm sure the boat would well and truly get out of the hole alot quicker. Strap a 2 stroke upto 75hp and you will certainly feel the response difference. That price seems more than reasonable for a boat thats only 4 years old. Also check out the polyboatowners website, loads of info. Just send the administrator Doug a PM to register if you have not already done so. Good Luck!

You need max HP on the Poly's as they are heavy.A mate had a 75 Honda on his Brumby and it went well,I have a 60 4st Yammy on the 4.55 and it gets along well.As said get on the Poly boat site, heaps of info.
