Headed out with fellow Ausfish member Popgun 19 this morning for a prawning session off Nudgee. There was about 40 boats hanging south east of the mouth of Kedron Brook in 3 metres of water so we joined the flock and got just over 4 kilos of small banana and even smaller greeseies. Only managed about 10 decent sized bananas:'(.
Just have to make a stirfry tonight with prawns, bacon, peas and chopped up egg stired through boiled rice with a dash of hot sauce:)
We will hit Mud tomorrow morning with my bigeye jigheads and zman plastics so if you see a 6.1m Allycraft with an old bastard on board come over and say hello;D
Cheers

Hope you have better luck in the bay than i did yesterday. Thanks for leads and jig head on Friday arvo. Still haven't christened the jig yet but not for lack of trying. What did you decide on your solar system?

Are you travelling on a bean bag barry.
Prawns have probably gone into the green zone now.

No bean bag in the Bay Tim, I was the skipper this morning while Popgun 19 (Brian) threw the cast net. I think the bananas are out wide at the moment and hopefully will move into the 3 metre zone over the next week::)

I gave the thumbs down to installing solar as I would have to replace my meter box and pay for roof brackets. Did the sums and would not be in the blue for 8 years by that time I could be pushing up dasies.;D
