new overhead rod

im loooking at a rod for my calcutta 400b it will be spooled with 30lb braid using it for snapper fishing and what ever else come along my budget is probs 200$ maybe be able to stretch it to 250$

Mate this aint answering ya question ,I do have 2 400,s ,they are too slow in the retrieve department because of there small spool diameter if fishing any depth of water over 25mtrs.If ya fishin shallow then fine but otherwise try a larger model like a 700.Just my opinion though from trying it out.thought id let ya know so you could maybe retun it and upgrade before buyin a rod.
