Well just thought I would share my proud ownership of my new peice of furniture...My father and myself (moral support, quality control, tools bitch and sanding !!HAHA) have spent the last few months on and off putting this little beauty together..could have bought one from the shops for $50 but it would not look as good or be as special as this one!!

Anyway thought I would share our creation with you all might even inspire some to get the tools out and have a go yourself..could have just bunged one together from old wood but spending the time to make something special was worth it in the end

came up with the idea to get dad using his huge workshop for something useful instead of just collecting tools....bloody markets!!

learnt heaps about timberwork along the way and really enjoyed making it and spending time with my dad i think i owe him a decent fishing trip for sure..thanks you old bugger

The only problem with it is that I only have 9 rods and this is made for 20 so i could get dangerous8-)

cheers...

Top stuff.

Thanks heaps guys!!!

Asked dad about the business proposition he said he is not likely to quit his day job just yet!!Maybe when he retires in 10-15 years ;D

I think I will at some stage put an order for another one in or even better have a go one holidays myself..that might be daunting!!
