First thing to try is a 19P SS prop. Get your revs up to 6200-6300 with no load and 6100-6200 with a load. That should get you on the plane better. It must be struggling spinning the 21 by the sounds. SS with give you more bite and there is less flex in the blades so they are more effecient than Al props. If the 19P is too big a drop down they can always cup your blades to get you another 200-300rpm knocked off.

hi brad i have a signature 550br with a df140hp. i tried the 14x21p which was woeful then tried the 14x19p, holeshot was awesome but topped out at 65kmh on rev limiter(6500rpm).
also tried a solas 4 blade but ditched that and ended buying a merc flo-torqII hub kit.
Am now running a 13.75x20p 4 blade merc trophy plus for good holeshot even with 4 POB with top speed of 65kmh at 6200rpm, by myself and no load top speed is 71kmh at 6300rpm. it hangs on in corners like you wouldnt believe with no blow-out with a good cruise at 4000rpms of 43-45kmh.
all speeds are gps measured and my boat weighs 1150kgs approx on water
like smithy said i found it struggled a bit to spin the 21p for holeshot then once moving it was fine whereas the 19p was too low a drop in pitch. Go stainless for a start and try a genuine 14x20p suzi if you can, or you can ditch them all and go for the mercury props;D
whereabouts are you located?
cheers ryan

Hi Brad, you shouldnt have to keep buying props untill you find the right one. Merc props are good but if you can find a supplier to try some different props you will only have to buy one. Companies like solas will sell you a prop to suit after trying and can cup them if need be.
