great day out

went for a run in the cat this morning to drop a few pots in and have a look for a few schoolies for lunch,dropped my post in a spot i havn't tried in yrs on the way to the sandhills....trolled the sandhills for a few hrs but not much caught only 2 macs and a banito..went back and pulled my pots after a 3hr soak and ended up with 10 keepers.left them there and will rebait and check them again tomorrow...wasn't too bad a day on the water but a nice 3/4mtr windchop halfway to moreton...inside green was pretty flat..smoked mac fillets for lunch and crabs beers for dinner tonite

Dont discard the Bonito Rosco. They will smoke up pretty good too

Top effort as always Rosco. i Tried in and around Coochie yesterday and only managed 3 keepers all day, plenty of star fish, which kept the kids entertained though...

I think you hit the nail on the head Rosco, I left them for a soak Monday night, thinking being a week night they might be safer but when I checked them Tuesday morning, 3 of the 4 pots had been checked and they left the top open, they could have shut them and let me just think that I hadn't got any :(
