Birdsville to Alice

Hey,

Planning a trip currently to the Birdsville cup this year. Looking to head to alice springs afterwards and thinking of going across the Simpson (Colson Track). But would only travel that way in company. At this stage i dont know anyone else going. Anyone on here interested in tagging along or possibly already going to be out that way?

I have a diesel hilux and am fully self sufficient.

Plenty of southern NT farm boys head home through the Simpson. There'll be clowns everywhere out there at that time of year - weather dependent of course. We came through from the NT to Birdsville for the races along the French line. A decent uhf on Ch10 will get you all the friends you need. Most go more directly than the Coulson though.
