I been looking up some knots for live bait and I found the "sliding snell knot".
It's most probably very common its just I have always used on hook or a gang.
After setting up my rig it looks a very healthy knot indeed.
When it came to connecting the swivel I used a "Palomarr" knot, then cut it off and opted for a "Uni".
Just got me thinking I usually do this because the "Palomar" is meant to be the strongest knot for terminal tackle, however It's a dam ugly "lumpy" looking knot, and I always cut it off and opt for a better looking "Uni".
Anyone else relate to this?
Just wondering as I find the "Palomar" less agile than other knots.
Maybe it has better applications in 50lb and up.
