pe3 jig rod

im looking for a pe3 jig rod preferably under 150$ i had a look at the salty fighter but that is only pe2 :-? if any one could recommened any suggestions and give me feedback on it
that would be appreciated

what weight jigs are you looking at using?

Probably just light jigs 60-90 and also. Octo jigs

Hi Bommie I picked up a Pfleuger Supreme PE3 jig rod at the tinnie and tackle show last year for $150. Love it. Took it to Swains and it handled everthing I hooked. Nice and light with a great action. It is a 2 piece rod which break at the butt. I know they retailed for about $250-280 in the shops. If you could find one of these it would suit perfect.

Saltigas are fantatic - look for the SAGJ range. You'll pay $400+ here but if you look at the international listings on ebay you should be able to find one around the $150 mark delivered.

Calcutta's will handle it but a drag upgrade would be a good investment.
