Hi, has anyone got any recent reports of whats being caught up the calliope river of late? Is it safe to be handling the fish up there yet? Was thinking of heading over for a fish this weekend with the family, ;) thanks.

The pros have been netting in there this week. Not during daylight hours though. I guess someone somewhere is buying the fish. There is still a few sick fish around but there is more in some areas than others. Good luck mate.

Thanks for the heads up warti, thought the fish would be fine but you know what it's like, i've heard some wild stories! I'm going to float over from bilo to wet a line at an old favourate spot. haven't fished there in over a year so i'll see how we go, any idea if there's any prawns up the creek yet?
Thanks, Zac.

Dont usually chase prawns but i have heard of blokes getting a few kilos on the weekend. But i think it was up the harbor. There should be some good grunter around though if you get on to the prawns.
