has anyone got one of these, any feedback on issues or reliabilty.Watched a bloke at yamba stick it to 1 metre jewies with ease,Rod was a 1-3 kg,seemed to handle the 25lb fluro knot ok also, pretty keen on getting one,but at $500 would like to know a bit more history.
good question. i recently asked the same question about the tournament master z-1 with limited responses. There is some info when you do a search. I think you either love them or hate them. i havent actually used one before but i think being able to cast hard without fear of guide wrap is its best feature. its detraction is that you have to carry around the wire you, god knows if you lose it, and the inside can get crap inside it. you can clean them by running water through them though?? at the end of the day i have heard some really good reports about them and them some bad ones too. be interested to hear from people who have used them also.

I think they would be well wort the money if you have it to spend.
Though I am only going from a couple of articles that had some high praise and the usual Diawa propaganda.
If I won lotto my first purchase would be a couple of these rods along with suitably matched reels.
